Will there be a Swedish chef in the Obama White House?

MARCUS SAMUELSSON, the Ethiopian-born Swede who is the chef and founder of the famous New York restaurant Aquavit, is rumored to be among the names being talked about to become chef in the new Obama White House. While that would be quite an honor, we can help but think that Obama’s gain would be our loss. What would become of the très chic Aquavit if Mr. Samuelsson has to toil away in the kitchen at the White House every day? I guess we would just have to get on the White House invitation list to taste more of his wonderfully innovative cuisine.
