The Swedish Jazz will perform in Arlington, Virginia

THE SWEDISH Jazz (www.theswedishjazz.com) will perform on Friday evening, November 13, at 8 p.m. at The Lyceum in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia. The group consists of saxophonist Anders LundegÄrd, a native Swede, and guitarist and singer Al Baumann, who is married to a Swede. Both reside in the Washington, D.C. area. Together they form a unique blend of jazz standards, popular songs and folk music.
AT THE FRIDAY performance, they will be joined by guest bassist Herbert Nachmann and Finnish Soprano Meri Siirala. The Swedish Jazz performs at many types of concert venues, clubs, embassies, as well as functions at corporate headquarters and non-profit organizations. Previously, among other places, they have played at IKEA holiday functions, at Augustana Lutheran Church in Washington, D.C., the Arlington Arts Center and The Swedish Embassy - House of Sweden.
