THE HOLIDAY party season is here, and in December one event follows another in the nation's capital. On Thursday night, December 10, Long View Gallery on Ninth Street, N.W., several hundreds of people gathered for the ReadySetDC launch party "For the love of DC," with DJ Tittsworth, Bullfight Academy, Henry Mills & DJ Fleg performing. The majority of the proceeds from the event will benefit Arts for the Aging (AFTA), a nonprofit organization founded by Lolo Sarnoff to provide visual, performing, literary and intergenerational arts outreach programs specially designed to enhance the health and well-being of seniors (http://www.aftaarts.org/).
