Todd Hitchcock of the American Film Institute will discuss “Swedish Mystery Stories in Film” at a SACU luncheon in Washington

TODD HITCHCOCK, Director of Programming at the American Film Institute (AFI) in Washington, D.C., will share his perspectives on the recent popularity of Swedish mystery novels as they are presented in film at a SACU (Swedish-American Cultural Union) luncheon on Wednesday, March 30, 2011, at 12 noon. The title of the program is “Swedish Mystery Stories in Film.”

THE SACU luncheon will be held at the Pier Restaurant in the Channel Inn, 650 Water Street, S.W., on the Washington waterfront. Member cost is $25 and non-members $29. For reservations, contact Carl Ek at 703-255-6228 or ekcarl@msn.com by Monday, March 28.
