THE GERMAN language in Germany, Austria and Switzerland was the focus of this year’s G?teborg (Gothenburg, Sweden) Book Fair (http://www.book-bibliotek.se/en/). But that didn’t prevent last year’s Nobel Prize winner in literature, Peruvian author Mario Vargas Llosa, from participating at the fair, together with Romanian-born German novelist and Nobel laureate Herta M?ller.

THE FOUR-DAY long literary festival and extravaganza took place September 22-25 at the Swedish Exhibition Center in G?teborg. The many people who attended enjoyed meeting and listening to Nobel Prize winners Mr. Vargas Llosa and Ms. M?ller as well as other famous authors and publishers.
MANY ADMIRERS were also able to meet with Mr. Vargas Llosa when he visited the nearby V?ldskulturmuseet (The World’s Culture Museum), and discussed his literature and signed his books.
