THE PERUVIAN winner of the 2010 Nobel Prize in literature Mario Vargas Llosa and his wife Patricia were the guests of honor at the opening reception for the exhibition “Daphne – The Subtle Power of a Woman’s Eye,” featuring dramatic photos by Daphne Dougall Hogg de Zileri on Friday evening, November 18, at the Embassy of Peru in Washington, D.C.

IN THIS FABULOUS exhibition, the photographs of Peruvian Daphne Dougall Hogg de Zileri (1936-2011) capture the quiet magic and sparkle in everyday Peru and elsewhere.
