THE WASHINGTON area’s 62nd Annual Christmas in Finland Bazaar drew a big crowd on Saturday, Nov. 19. Held at the Unitarian Church on River Road in Bethesda, Maryland, the bazaar featured delicious traditional Finnish sandwiches and baked goods at the cafe, as well as music, a design and art gift shop, a gourmet food and candy shop, a book and DVD shop, a baker’s shop of Christmas pastries made with original Finnish recipes, and raffles and a silent auction.
