Watergate Gallery in Washington, D.C. celebrates its 25th anniversary

A BIG CROWD came to Watergate Gallery in Washington, D.C., for the gallery’s 25th anniversary celebration on Saturday evening, Feb. 11, with a show of paintings and sculptures. Many of the artists who had exhibited at the gallery over the years participated in this anniversary exhibition.

THE ARTISTS showing their works are Ahlin, Richard Barrett, Richard Binder, Jeffrey Russells, Lee Casey, Robert Cole, Alonzo Davis, William D’Italia, Peter Garon, Swedish American artist Gunnel Gyllenhoff, Don Herman, Eva Jacob, Craig Kraft, Barbara Kobylinska, Shirley Koller, Elizabeth Martineau, John McMahon, Philippe Mougne, Sam Noto, Antonia Ramis Miguel, Mark Palmer, Wendy Plotkin-Mates, Haydeh (Heid) Rastin, Alfredo Ratinoff, James Schaefer, Craig Schaffer, Pam Soldwedel, Gia Tkabladze, Marjolein van Milligen, Marion van Ruiten, Alexander Vasiljev and Helen Zughaib.

THERE WILL BE artist talks on Wednesday, Feb. 22, at 6:30 p.m.; Thursday, March 1, at 6:30 p.m.; and Monday, March 12, at 6:30 p.m. The closing party will be Saturday, March 31, 6-8 p.m. The show runs through March 31, 2012.
