Artist Anna U. Davis beside her work “The Reluctant Builder”
ON SATURDAY, July 14, the opening reception for a pop-up exhibition featuring artwork by Swedish-born, Washington-based artist Anna U. Davis was held at The Gallery at BloomBars (www.bloombars.com) in Washington, D.C.
THE POP-UP exhibition came about through Anna’s relationship with Sitali Siyolwe and John Chambers and the magic they created with Seed the Sound Sunday three years ago. Ten percent of the proceeds from Anna’s exhibition will go to the Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA), which helps children and young adults who need a life-saving transplant by providing fundraising assistance and family support.
