THE 89TH Virginia Gold Cup Races was held on Saturday, May 3. This popular annual horse race competition usually draws a large audience, with many guests dressed in beautiful and creative outfits and hats. Sponsors serve food and beverages in their white sponsor tents. And the event is always very festive.

Art exhibition – ‘Unframed’ — with artist Mike Weber at W Washington DC opened on May 21

ON WEDNESDAY, May 21 “Unframed,” an exhibition with artist Mike Weber, opened at The Living Room at W Washington DC. The exhibition, which is arranged in partnership with Long View Gallery, runs through July 1.

FotoDC exhibition with White House photos at the W Hotel in Washington, D.C.

FotoDCPolitical photos by White House photographers from 1900 to present covers the walls at W Washington DC Hotel.

ON THURSDAY evening, May 1, two FotoDC events took place in Washington, D.C. to celebrate the White House Correspondent’s Dinner weekend. A creative exhibit of White House News Photographers Association’s best political photographs from 1900 to present – in partnership with FotoDC and Brightest Young Things — opened at the W Washington DC Hotel across from the White House. This event was hosted by Theo Adamstein, Kristin Guiter, Philippa Hughes, Svetlana Legetic, Sheldon Scott and Kate Warren. The exhibition runs through May 20.
