Editorial Policy
Submission of any content, whether news reports, photographs, or other information, shall constitute the granting of permission to SwedishScene to publish the content in whole or in part as the editors of SwedishScene decide. The editors can also choose, as they deem appropriate, to not publish any submissions. Submissions can be in English or Swedish only. Whenever possible authors will be credited and acknowledged.
Please e-mail material to editor@swedishscene.com. The preferred format for copy is in Microsoft Word.
If and when you submit any photo, information or any other content to SwedishScene.com, by doing so you grant SwedishScene.com and its publisher, Michelsen International, LLC, an irrevocable, perpetual and royalty-free right to use such photo, information or other content as it sees fit. Also if and when you submit any photo, information or any other content to SwedishScene.com, by doing so you certify and affirm that such content is free from any claim of copyright, and that it does not violate anyone’s claim of privacy. Any liability that arises due to the publication of any photo, information or other content you submit shall be your liability, and by submitting any photo, information or content, you indemnify SwedishScene.com and its publisher Michelsen International, LLC, from any liability that may arise because of the publication of all or part of the photo, information or other content you submit.
If you take a photo of someone in a private venue and submit that photo to SwedishScene.com, it shall be your responsibility prior to submitting the photo to ascertain from the person or persons in the photograph that you have their permission to submit the photo to SwedishScene.com for publication. This usually requires simply telling people when you are taking their picture that you intend to submit the photo to SwedishScene.com and asking them for their approval to do so. Preferably, all persons in a photograph should be identified, and the spelling of the names of the persons in the photograph shall be checked, so it is usually a good idea to have a pad and pen handy when you take the photograph so that you can write down the names of the people in the photograph and ask them the correct spelling of their names. If you take a photo of people in a public venue, you do not need to ask permission of anyone to submit the photo to SwedishScene.com, however, it is still preferable to get identification of people in the photo if possible.
As indicated in the Terms and Conditions on this Web site, you shall not upload to or send to SwedishScene.com any libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, abusive, fraudulent or otherwise illegal material or content.
